New Fishing Area Pages on Haines and Petersburg
We at Alaska Fishing are happy to annouce two new town pages to our site, Haines Alaska FIshing and Petersburg Alaska Fishing.
Each of these pages will feature detailed information on fishing in the area, including information on lakes, rivers, and saltwater fishing spots.
Fishing in Haines Alaska is a pleasure, the scenery is fantastic and the people are wonderful. I should know, I used to live in Haines and manage one of the local lodging establishments that was popular with fishermen.
Fishing in Petersburg Alaska is legendary. Petersburg, also known as Alaska’s Little Norway, is one of the major homeports for Alaska’s commercial fishing fleet. Salmon and Halibut are big and plentiful. Locals are nice, and the guides and captains in the area are skilled at putting you on the fish.
